Identification is key
In the identification tool, the added value for the site and for the company is evaluated on the basis of questions grouped around three pillars.
Does the company have a circular business model or is there the will to focus more on circular economy?
In other words, if you offer circular products or services, you have an advantage. If you can demonstrate that you want to make the circular transition, you are also welcome.
Are there opportunities for synergies with other companies or establishers on or off site?
This means that as an establisher, you have to work with partners and suppliers that are located on the site or in the region, so locally anchored.
Does the company have the ambition to build a sustainable building?
For exemple, you are required to obtain a certificate at the ‘Excellent’ level (70 percent or more of the sustainability criteria checked) of the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) for the building you are constructing.
