The North Plaza 9 office building will be renovated. Banimmo (building owner and operator) will divide the building into two entities; A and B and convert the whole into a passive building with a BREEAM Outstanding rating.
The renovation project is located in the business district “Brussels North”, and therefore has an excellent accessibility. Networks Brussels City can be reached both by public transport and by car.
The building consists of three underground floors that will be used as parking, a floor level and 9 upper floors initially intended as offices. The ground floor will be used partly for reception and partly as retail and office space. Thanks to the flexible modulation of the offices, it can be used for different purposes. Multi-functionality is key, and that’s also the purpose of the architects. DDS+ opts for a smart use of space and plenty of light. This building will be characterized by large glass sections, high entrances, several reflective surfaces and an atrium.
Bopro is responsible for Project management, Quantity Survey and Safety Coordination. We also act as a BREEAM and energy performance consultant.
