BOPRO enters into a ‘BREEAM In-Use’ partnership with Goodman, the global logistics player

Bopro the dedicated consultant firm specializing in future proof real estate will accompany Goodman to certify its logistics portfolio in Continental Europe, according to the ‘BREEAM In-Use’ scheme.

In total, 54 prime logistics assets covering more than 1.9 million m² GLA will be certified by 2021 in seven countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic).

Philippe van der Beken, Managing Director Goodman Continental Europe, explains the project: ‘Sustainability is at the heart of our business strategy. We constantly upgrade our technical standards so that our new projects rate highly under environmental certification schemes. It is also important for us to demonstrate to our customers how sustainable our existing properties are. That’s the reason why we launched this large-scale ‘BREEAM In-Use’ certification process in collaboration with BOPRO.’
