After a thorough audit carried out throughout 2003, it was established that the existing facilities of the Flemish Opera in Antwerp no longer complied with the applicable (fire) safety regulations.
Bopro advised on the renovation activities that restored this beautiful building built in 1907 to its original beauty.
Apart from some structural measures and without damaging the valuable interior, modifications were carried out to the lifts, heating, electricity, sanitary facilities and theatre systems, and the stagehouse.
