The construction of Saint Peter's Residential Care Centre began in October 2011. The new rest home is to be built opposite the existing service flats. Particular attention has been paid to ecologically responsible building. The windows of the rooms rise from floor to ceiling. The external supporting structure and the frontage construction give shade in the rooms, thus preventing overheating during the summer months. Use is also made of a concrete core activation so that the summer and winter temperatures remain more or less constant inside the building. The ground floor accommodates the lobby, dining room, fitness room, and office units. The three floors of guest rooms are almost identical. The rooms are arranged around a common lounge and kitchen. There are 120 beds plus four beds for short visits.
